2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Air time, how to live stream, host, full list of nominees, presenters and all about the coveted award show

Host

Day one event will be hosted by Leslie Jones straight from Palladium in Los Angeles whereas, the second day of the award show will be hosted by Nikki Glaser. The ‘Saturday Night Live ‘ alum Leslie Jones had earlier shared the big news on her official Twitter account saying, “Get ready for some fun, y'all!” And guess what, Jones has also scored a nomination in the Best Comedic Performance category for her work in ‘Coming 2 America’.

 

 

 
Where to livestream

Viewers will be able to catch all the action of the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards on MTV on May 16 from the Palladium in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET. And, if we talk about day 2- the inaugural ‘Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted’ will be aired on May 17 at 9 p.m. ET. This is the first time when Palladium in Los Angeles has been chosen as the venue for MTV Movie & TV Awards. Barker Hangar, the Shrine Auditorium, and Warner Bros. Studios were some of the earlier venues.

 

 

Presenters

A full list of presenters of both days was recently announced by MTV. We will see TV personality Angelina Pivarnick presenting the award along with Anna Shay, Bretman Rock, and Brie Bella. Apart from these celebrities, fans will also see digital creator Charli D'Amelio walking on the stage to present the award. TV personalities Chrishell Stause, Christine Chiu, Christine Quinn, Dixie D'Amelio, singer Erika Jayne, ‘RuPaul's Drag Race’s Gottmik, Heather Rae Young, and Heidi D'Amelio are some of the other names listed as presenters.

The 2021 edition of MTV Movie & TV Awards is dominated by Marvel’s Disney Plus series ‘WandaVision’ with five nods followed by the Netflix series ‘Emily in Paris’ and Amazon Prime Video’s ‘The Boys’ with four nominations. Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’, Disney Plus’ ‘The Mandalorian’ and Amazon Studios’ movie ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’ scored three nods each. Late Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman also received a posthumous nomination for his last movie ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ in the Best Movie Performance category.
