MOSCOW, IDAHO: Steve Goncalves, father of Idaho murder victim Kaylee Goncalves, recently came up with concerns regarding the investigation since Day one. Criticizing the police for their investigation at different junctures, it was reported that the father claimed the victims had "big open gouges" that were clearly the work of a "sadistic male" and called police "cowards" for not sharing more with the public. However, Steve's other daughter and Kaylee's sister Alivea slammed the report, claiming that her father never made such statements.

Explaining in a Facebook discussion forum, Alivea said: "Hi, Steve's daughter, Kaylee's sister here. I hate to make the post but unfortunately, this reporter got bad information. We are also working with the lawyer to get this removed but wanted to let you know from the source: this information was not given to anyone at Fox from our family."
