NAUGATUCK, CONNECTICUT: The baby girl who was brutally murdered earlier this month at the hands of her own father was laid to rest this weekend as authorities continue to hunt for the suspected killer.

The Naugatuck Police Department is searching for 31-year-old Christopher Francisquini, who is wanted in connection with the gruesome homicide on Friday, November 18. He is accused of killing his infant daughter Camilla Francisquini, who was just a month shy of being one year old. Investigators said the girl died of neck compressions and stab wounds, and was dismembered at home. Naugatuck Police Chief Colin McCallister said the suspect is considered “armed and dangerous," and that based on the victim's body authorities concluded, "this was an intentional act.”
