SAVANNAH, GEORGIA: In a shocking revelation, Diana McCarta, the babysitter of slain infant Quinton Simon, has opened up about the toddler's "loveless" relationship with his mother. When Quinton vanished from his Chatham County home in Georgia on October 5, he was just 20 months old. Authorities had to wait over two months to explain what transpired to Quinton following his disappearance.

The toddler's remains were discovered in a dump on November 18 and the authorities confirmed his death on November 28. Leilani Simon, Quinton's mother, is suspected of being responsible for his death. Three days after police confirmed the discovery of remains, she was taken into custody and charged with murder, covering up another person's death, false reporting and making false statements involving her son.
