During the video, the singer opened up about her time at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she "had to go away" according to her father, Jamie. Spears said in the now-private video, "He said you have to listen to the doctors. His last words were 'you don't have to go but if you don't go, we'll go to court with a big trial and you will lose.'" She added that she "wanted to scream" and her heart felt frozen as she was forced to sit in a chair for 10 hours a day. 

The singer shared that her experience in an institution, where she allegedly had "six galls" of blood drawn every week, caused her to lose faith in God. Given that the human body only contains a blood volume of 1.2 to 1.5 gallons, it is unclear what she was referring to. Furthermore, she claimed that she was denied any privacy and could not even do something that even "people on death row" can do: Smoke cigarettes.

In the full clip, Spears talks at length about her experiences during this time and gives a timeline of the incidents that led to her being placed under conservatorship, where her father Jamie had control over her decisions and finances. In addition, the 'Oops! The I Did It Again' singer, who recently deleted her Instagram account, claims that her forced incarceration in 2008 was planned and the result of a scheme to gain control over her millions.

Spears, who is currently embroiled in a heated and widely publicized dispute with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, insisted during the de facto PSA that she had not consumed drugs or alcohol prior to her hospitalization, as had previously been alleged. This came just days after the troubled pop star made her first foray back into the music industry last Friday with the duet 'Hold Me Closer' with Elton John.

"A woman introduced the idea to my dad and my mom helped him follow through and made it all happen. It was all set up. There was no drugs or alcohol in my system. Pure abuse," Spears shot back in the derisive clip.

Spears concluded in her recording, "As if I'm dead, or I don't exist, honestly makes me look up and say, How the fuck did they get away with it? How is there a god? Is there a God giving eight gallons of blood weekly not being able to stand up? I was so so so weak. I'm sharing this because I want people to know I'm only human. I do feel victimized after these experiences. And how can I mend this if I don't talk about it? I have an amazing song right now with one of the most brilliant men of our time and I'm so grateful but if you're weird if you're a weird introvert oddball like me, who feels alone a lot of the time and you needed to hear a story like this day so you don't feel alone. Know this my life has been far from easy and you're not alone."
