Brittney Griner was seen donning a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt as her trial started in Russia. The WNBA star's wife meanwhile has reportedly claimed that even her to and fro journey to the court is a torture for her. Cherelle Griner said that the 6 feet 9 inches tall athlete has to fit inside a very small cage for the five-hour round-trip to court.

Cherelle told CNN's ‘New Day’: “So BG is having to travel over five hours round trip when she goes to court in a very, very, very tiny cage with her knees bent, feet up to the ground, because it's not big enough for her to fit in.”
