LONDON, UK: 'Harry & Meghan', a docuseries that has made several allegations against the royal family, has been receiving backlash in the UK and was unwelcomed by the media in the country. Following the allegations by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, one of the commentators even went on to label their actions as "treason" amid several other jarring comments attracted by the final episodes of the docuseries.

Nana Akua of GB News reacted to the second installment of the series with anger and disapproval as she urged a national referendum to get the royal titles of the couple and Harry's birthright as a prince to be removed. The 51-year-old host called the Netflix series “disgraceful,” saying, “I would go as far to say that they are committing treason.” Akua, who is Black, angrily said that the Duchess of Sussex made it “all about race,” and claimed “the only reason why people don’t like this woman is frankly because of the way she behaved. The awful things she said.”
