LUSAIL, QATAR: Twitter CEO Elon Musk and  Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner were spotted together at the 2022 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, December 18, in Lusail Stadium. The former White House senior adviser was seen standing next to Musk, who live-tweeted the match between Argentina and France and wrote, “Duel in the Desert. Couldn’t ask for a better game. Incredible play.”

Musk did not say whether the two attended the match together or not. But the photos of the two got flooded on Twitter, with people trolling them. Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, retweeted the photo that was posted by Representative Eric Swalwell, a California Democrat, with a caption that read, "They say a picture is worth a thousand words..." Cohen then retweeted by writing, "More like 2 billion!" The tweet seemed to be in reference to Kushner reportedly receiving a $2 billion investment from the Public Investment Fund led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman after Kushner left the White House last year, reports Newsweek. The House Oversight Committee said in June that it would investigate this deal.
