According to The Times, the actress said during the 'Smartless' podcast that she got emotional on the set while donning the heavy-weight costume. "We had to wear these enormous suits, which I think would've been great if we had CGI'd them but we wanted to do it in a tactile way," she shared. "When you hear the word tactile you think that sounds nice and cosy; there was nothing cosy about these suits. It was like 85lb, it was so heavy. The first time I put it on I started to cry and [Tom] didn't know what to do," she continued. 

"He just stared at me and was like 'I know, I know', I was like 'Tom I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this shoot' and just started to cry. I said, 'I'm feeling a bit panicky about the whole shoot.'"

While taking note of the overwhelming situation, Cruise finally uttered harsh words of encouragement for his co-star. "He just stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and he goes 'come on, stop being such a p***y, OK?'"

The actress added that the tough love certainly worked as she managed to make her way through the scene while also laughing off the interaction. However, the heavy costume was not a joke as the ‘A Quiet Place’ star needed a male stunt double instead of a female one due to its hefty weight. Blunt further revealed that she injured her ribs and collarbone while in the suit which is 'still dodgy' eight years on. 

However, the hard work paid off as the movie grossed $370 million, which was more than twice the cost of its making. According to the DailyMail, reports suggest that a sequel of the 2014 blockbuster is on its way, with the actors confirming that they had been asked previously but were unable to align schedules. However, Blunt doubts that possibility as it is "too expensive". She also added, "I just don’t know how we’re going to do it," despite admitting that director Doug Limon and "Tom were up for it."
