Chelsea said that it was a significant occasion for their daughter, who "practiced her routine all all month long" and would only allow her mother and father to "listen to her dance routine song for the entire month." When asked if Krow's fame had an impact on her, Chelsea said her classmates had told her, "You're famous, Emmy."

The adorable moment almost did not happen since the young girl got a case of the shivers and needed her father to cheer her up. Chelsea said, "We were so overjoyed she found us in the audience, she is such a sweetheart. She has such a big heart she has always worn on her sleeve. We were thrilled she could see us in the crowd and knew were were all there to support her."

When asked how the child managed to locate her relatives in the crowd, Krow stated that there was one particular family member that stood out to her. Chelsea said, "Emmy said she could see Laurel waving to her on stage. Seeing her baby sister, just one-year-old, so excited to see her on the stage made the young girl very emotional.

Chelsea added, "Emmy said she was so happy to see her sister she cried! We told her not all tears are sad tears, and that we were so proud of her." A local broadcaster was informed by the owner of the dancing studio that she thinks Krow's parents would cherish this memory and be happy they captured it on film and in concert. The owner claimed that this was precisely why she held the yearly recital.

Chelsea reportedly said that she would learn one essential lesson from this experience, saying, "I think this moment really highlighted the importance of showing up for the people we love. My family is so happy this moment went 'viral' and inspired so much love and kindness across the whole world. The thousands of comments of love have touched our hearts. This has been an incredible Christmas gift."

Walker Hayes, a country music artist, used his song 'Face in the Crowd' in an Instagram post to express his appreciation for the heartwarming viral clip. More than 35,000 people liked and commented on his video. One person wrote, "Sooooo stinking ADORABLE !!!!"
