EXCLUSIVE | 'RHOSLC' star Whitney Rose slammed for using white sage to promote a 'secret' product launch

Whitney's post instantly grabbed everybody's attention. While some of her followers were excited to learn more about her upcoming new launch, others were taken aback by the housewife burning the sacred white sage in the video. A user commented on Whitney's post, "Pls tell me that’s not white sage…" Another user shared, "@whitneywildrose please educate yourself on the meaning of white sage! It’s a sacred medicine that should not be used for your own profit 🤦🏻‍♀️."

White sage is regarded very highly amongst the indigenous cultures, where its burned for meditation, smudging and cleansing of spirit and dwelling. In some beliefs, white sage smoke is believed to provide a barrier that prevents negative spirits from entering the room in which the ceremony is being held. So, when Whitney's followers noticed that the housewife was burning white sage to promote her new "secret launch", it understandably didn't sit well with many.

Aside from taking offense at her burning the white sage, many followers were also confused with Whitney's bizarre promotional strategy of dressing up in lingerie to promote spiritual healing. A user joked, "Spiritual healing ? You are doing a lingerie ad here😵‍💫." "Wild Rose Exorcisms," added another user. "Sex toys? Lubricants? 😂😂," guessed another user based on Whitney's clip about her upcoming new secret launch.

The ongoing Season 3 of 'RHOSLC' features Whitney embarking on a spiritual journey to heal herself from all the traumas she endured, especially during her childhood.
