'F*** cancer': Ronnie Turner's wife Afida Turner mourns his death, reveals THREE-WEEK cancer got him 'sick'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tina Turner's 62-year-old son died after a short three-week cancer battle that deteriorated his health. In an emotional Instagram post, on Saturday, December 10, Ronnie Turner's wife, Afida Turner, 45 revealed that her beloved husband died in just three weeks of fighting cancer, which ravaged his body, while adding alongside the caption "F*** cancer". Ronnie, who had previously battled cancer, was discovered, having trouble breathing outside, on Thursday, December 8 morning in his Los Angeles home and he died the same day.
She referred to Ronnie as "a terrific musician and bass player" and an "amazing soul" with the "heart of a giant" with a picture of him and his deceased father Ike. He was declared dead at the scene after his neighbors' futile attempts to save him. His death came four years after Tina's elder son, Craig Turner, who shot himself to death in July 2018. Tina was only 18 when she became pregnant with Craig through saxophonist Raymond Hill, as per Daily Mail.
