Drake CONFIRMS arrest in Sweden: Truth behind WILD ‘Free Drake’ rumors online
Update: Drake has confirmed that he indeed was arrested in Sweden after speculations about his arrest were denied by his PR team. On Sunday, July 17, he posted a photo of a document Swedish authorities gave him that confirmed all the mass speculation.
The photo dump from the singer included a series of photos and video documenting his trip that included plenty of partying at a nightclub.
The document notes that Drake can 'receive the aid of a defense attorney who under certain conditions can be paid for by the state' and that he can 'receive the assistance of an interpreter during interrogation if necessary'. It also said he has the right to demand that his own country's consulate or equivalent institutions be notified of your detainment.
