LONDON, ENGLAND: Fans of Henry Cavill were left heartbroken when he shared the news that he won't be returning as Superman in future DC movies. Cavill took to his Instagram account on December 14 to say that he had met with James Gunn and his co-chair, Peter Safran, to discuss the future of his character in the DC Universe. Now, his fans are want him to take on the mantle of playing 007 in the 'James Bond' franchise.
“I will, after all, not be returning as Superman,” Cavill wrote, adding, “After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life. The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build. I wish them and all involved with the new universe the best of luck, and the happiest of fortunes.”
