Captain Sandy was unfazed when she found yachting was a male-dominated industry. Not only did she get acquainted with everything around the boat, but she also made it a point to get to know her crew as much as she can in one day. Camille Lamb, who is renowned for not completing her work well and frequently arguing with co-star Alissa Humber, got into an issue with Ross McHarg and Fraser Olender. In the latest episode, she could be seen grumbling about having to do laundry all the time, something she didn't sign up for. She made herself available for deck work after a little altercation with Ross but was forced to return to laundry thanks to Captain Sandy.
Fans quickly took to social media to share thoughts on their dynamic, "Ooou i just know camille and sandy either gonna get into it or be besties, there’s no in between." These two girls. Good lord."

Fans are happy with Captain Sandy stepping in, "The best part of Captain Sandy stepping in for Captain Lee is how she's going to deal with Camille." Fans who want Camille gone, wrote, "I am NOT a fan of Captain sandy. But I am looking forward to her firing Camille at some point because she's a useless person on this boat."
