'We've all been there': Gay icon Jojo Siwa dragging the word 'lesbian' shows stigma fueled by porn, say fans

Looks like JoJo Siwa is having a bad day on social media. After first getting dragged for tagging the 46-year-old actress Candace Cameron Bure as the “rudest celebrity” she ever met, the ‘Dance Moms’ alum later got pulled up for not liking the term “lesbian.”
 
JoJo Siwa, who came out as gay in January 2021, in an interview with Yahoo! Life, got slammed on Twitter after she discussed her choices as a queer woman. The19-year-old claimed that she loves dressing in colorful clothes, adding that lesbians are often stereotyped as masculine. Siwa added that she did not like the term “lesbian,” which did not go down well with the majority of social media users.
