'She’s fighting a losing fight': Internet brutally trolls Kari Lake after Katie Hobbs is certified as Arizona gov
PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Democrat Katie Hobbs finally won against Kari Lake after The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on Monday, November 29, voted unanimously to certify the results of the 2022 election. While Hobbs' fans are rejoicing about the decision, many are actively trolling the Republican for the ultimate loss and the fact that she has claimed that the election is rigged and that it wasn't a fair and transparent process. Lake is backed by former president Donald Trump who even posted a long rant on his own platform addressing the election.
The 53-year-old Republican has preached mass voter disenfranchisement in Maricopa County but the people are demanding proof. On the other hand, Hobbs has filed a lawsuit against Cochise County after Republican election officials refused to certify their election results by the Monday deadline, November 28. She took to her Twitter to share the same and wrote, "Cochise County had a statutory duty to certify the results of the 2022 General Election by today. My office has filed a lawsuit to ensure all voters have their votes county." Hobbs is Arizona’s secretary of state and with 97% of the projected vote in, Hobbs received 50.4% of the vote compared to 49.6% for Lake.
