The cast of Make It or Break It: Here's what they have been up to
'Make It or Break It' was one of the most popular teen dramas of the past decade, running for a good four years from 2009 to 2012. The show focused on the lives of teen Olympic hopefuls and their daily training and struggles towards their common goal, and as it turns out, the stars that managed to acquire the love of so many, went on to become quite iconic in the near future.
Here's a round up of what the stars of Make It or Break It are up to now.
1. Josie Loren as Kaylie Cruz
The 31-year-old landed roles on popular shows such as The Glades, 21 & Over, Hit the Floor, and Young & Hungry. In addition to that, she also scored a starring role on the last season of The Mentalist. Josie is now engaged to retired NFL star Matt Leinart and the two are about to wed on May 26 this year.
2. Cassie Scerbo as Lauren Tanner
The 28-year-old has appeared in Hot in Cleveland, Baby Daddy, The Perfect Soulmate, Truth or Dare, and also the Sharknado movie franchise. She also went on to become a complete turnaround of the role she played as a bully, and is also the youth ambassador of Boo2Bullying.
3. Ayla Kell as Payson Keeler
Bagging significant roles in projects like Missing at 17, SnakeHead Swamp, Melissa & Joey, Rosemont, and Walt Before Disney, at 28, Ayla is now a professional photographer who's dating former Disney star Sterling Knight.
4. Chelsea Hobbs as Emily Kmetko
The 33-year-old has been in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Supernatural, Lucifer, The Psycho She Met Online, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, and UnReal. From 2007-2014, she was married to celebrity photographer Teren Oddo. The two have two children together and Chelsea is dating actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau now.
5. Candace Cameron-Bure as Summer van Horne
Three books and several performances in A Christmas Detour, Hallmark's Aurora Teagarden franchise, Faith of Our Fathers, Dancing with the Stars (Cycle 18), and Netflix's Fuller House later, Candace also went on to co-host The View. The 42-year-old is married to former NHL star Valeri Bure since 1996 and shares three children with him.
6. Neil Jackson as Sasha Belov
Upstairs, Downstairs, FlashForward, Sleepy Hollow, Lightfields, The Originals, Absentia, Nocturnal Animals, and Westworld are some of the significant projects that Neil, 42, has been a part of. He also created a GoFundMe account last year to help create a movie on the finding love in this age.
