FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA: R&B singer B Smyth died on Thursday, November 17, of lung disease at the age of 28. The tragic news was made public by his brother, Denzil, in a video message posted on Smith's Instagram account. Denzil explained how Smith was excited to celebrate his new single, 'Twerkoholic Part 2', with his fans which dropped last month. Many fans came forward to remember the singer and pay their tributes.

Denzil announced the death of the 28-year-old singer writing, "Today regretfully I have to announce that my brother has passed away this morning from respiratory failure after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. My brother was very excited to see a lot of you create challenges for his latest released single #Twerkoholic part 2 while he was in the ICU, it really brought him a big smile to his face. So on behalf of my brother and my family we want to say thank you to all of you for all of your love & support throughout the years." Smyth's most viral track was 'Twerkoholic' which gained 17 million views on YouTube and 13 million streams on Spotify and his journey started by covering Rihanna's songs.
