CLUELESS! Moscow Police now RETRACTS claim Idaho victims were 'targeted'

"As detectives move forward with the homicide investigation, a private security company has been contracted to provide scene security to free up patrol resources. The scene remains under police control," read a press release from the Moscow Police Department. However, as per the words of the Idaho State Police Communications Director, Aaron Snell to Fox News Digital, the authorities still "plan to continue holding the house." A car from Northern States Security & Investigation was reportedly seen at the scene. However, the company is yet to comment on the matter. 

Two roommates who lived on the bottom floor of the apartment in the house were left unharmed in the attack. They reportedly woke up later in the morning on November 13 after coming back from a party. Police said that the pair then brought over friends because "they believed one of the second-floor victims had passed out and was not waking up." The investigators received a 911 call from one of the roommates' cell phones at 11.58 am, hours after the murders took place. The cops also added that "multiple" people talked with the 911 operator. As per the outlet, the officers found "two victims on the second floor and two victims on the third floor" upon their arrival.

As per the recent findings, Kaylee Gonclaves’ father’s statement, and the Moscow Police Department clarification provided to Fox News on Thursday, December 1, the attack was targeted. 

"Our clarification last night directly addressed comments made by Latah County Prosecutor Thompson, who said the suspect(s) specifically looked at this residence, and that one or more of the occupants were undoubtedly targeted. We remain consistent in our belief that this was indeed a targeted attack but have not concluded if the target was the residence or its occupants," the statement read.
