'I'm the happiest I've ever... been': Adele reveals she's back on therapy to prioritize her mental health
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Singer Adele has shared with fans that she is taking therapy once again, and making sure her mental health remains a priority. The ‘Hello’ singer revealed this intimate detail candidly as she resumes her ‘Weekends with Adele’ Las Vegas residency. Adele started therapy first after divorcing her ex-husband Simon Konecki back in 2019.
The 34-year-old singer also shares her 10-year-old son, Angelo, with him. "Before, obviously, when I was going through my divorce, I was like, basically in like five therapy sessions a day. But I stopped holding myself accountable for my own behavior and the things I would say and it's because I would always fall back on my therapist,” Adele confessed to fans with a laugh before adding, "I needed to just hold myself accountable for it. But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I'm topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything." The 15-time Grammy winner said of returning to the regular sessions, and what they talked about in her latest session with her therapists, "I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread normally," according to People.
