'Devastating!' Internet shares wild footage of Louisiana tornado that left a girl dead and her mom missing
CADDO PARISH, LOUISIANA: Massive tornadoes struck the southern United States on Tuesday, December 13. A girl was killed and her mother is missing as a powerful storm moved across Louisiana. As the tornado swept through the area, the Caddo Parish sheriff said late that many mobile homes were destroyed and even a small forest was mowed down.
According to KSLA, one woman was taken to a local hospital and two people were reported missing. Around 11.30 pm, however, the search was rewarded. Sheriff Steve Pator confirmed that the child's body had been found, but the mother remained missing. Deputies are now going door-to-door to check on the welfare of the citizens of the community as a deadly storm moves through the central United States, injuring 22 people in Utah and causing at least five hurricanes in Texas.
