Is hacker Gurumi going to jail for V-Jennie dating rumor? BigHit claims they have found the suspect
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: It appears that Gurumi Haribo has become the sole target of every BTS and Blackpink fan after the alleged hacker breached the privacy of several K-pop idols. And now that the matter has hit the roof, BTS's record label, BigHit Music has stepped in to protect their artist. The identity of the poster remained a mystery until the label officially released a statement on September 29, 2022. Bighit claimed they had found the culprit and "the case has been sent to the prosecutor's office." Now, this could mean some serious action would be taken against the person or people behind the hacker known as Gurumi Haribo.
Gurumi Haribo had previously released unseen images of K-pop idols V aka Taehyung and Jennie claiming that the artists are dating. To back up their theory, they leaked private unreleased images of the two. The obsession with the rumored couple did not cease here. They later posted an unseen picture of Jisoo from the Paris Dior show and captioned it with, "So please, Jisoo, if you get this message, please post this unseen picture as a sign that you know Jennie and Taehyung are hanging out and you (among others) cannot speak about this. Thank you." Hours later, Jisoo's Instagram account had posted the leaked image but fans did not know if she had posted it or if her account had been hacked too. With the rumors flying, Bighit decided to take matters into their hands.
