Update: Ivana, 73, was found 'unconscious and unresponsive' at the bottom of the staircase in her Upper East Side townhouse on Thursday, July 14, around 12.30 pm. At the time, her cause of death was not determined but no foul play was suspected. A day later the medical examiner has confirmed that it was an accidental death and she died from injuries she sustained as a result of the fall.

The last few hours of former US President Donald Trump's first wife Ivana Trump were reportedly not so unusual as she had “an extremely normal conversation” with the owner of her favorite restaurant. However, Altesi Ristorante’s owner Paola Alavian pointed out that she did “look a little bit tired, but she otherwise seemed okay” and had “very, very small amount of food”.

The 73-year-old died on Thursday afternoon, July 14, and her body was reportedly found at the staircase’s bottom in her NYC home after someone called 911, reporting a person having a cardiac arrest. But it has been said that just a day before her sudden death, Ivana was fine and also went to Altesi Ristorante, which is a few yards away from her Manhattan home.
