‘Choosing to prioritize my children’: Ivanka splits Internet as she ‘abandons’ Donald Trump’s 2024 run
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Ivanka Trump has announced that she will not be involved in her father Donald Trump's 2024 run for the White House. In a statement on Tuesday, November 15, she said she wants to focus on her children, as husband Jared Kushner attended the Mar-a-Lago launch.
"I love my father very much. This time around, I'm choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family," Ivanka wrote in a statement she shared on her Instagram story. "While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena."

She added, "I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration's sccomplishments." Noticeably, Ivanka was absent as former president Trump called attention to the other family members in the room, including his wife Melania and son Eric.
Trump officially announced that he is running for president for the third time in 2024. He made the announcement in a speech slamming President Joe Biden. "I order to make America great and glorious again, I am today announcing my candidacy for president of the United States," he said.
He promised he would make his run about working people and restoring American energy independence. He also vowed to reform elections to ensure there are "only paper ballots". "This will not be my campaign. This will be our campaign all together. Because the only force strong enough to defeat the massive corruption we are up against is you, the American people," Trump said.
Trump attacked Biden in his speech. "America's comeback starts right now," the former president said, slamming Biden for record inflation, "falling asleep at global conferences" and making the US "detestable" with the rest of the world.

Claiming Afghanistan was the most "embarrassing moment in the history of our country", he blasted the Biden administration border policies that have led to an "invasion" and fentanyl "pouring" into the country. "We are here tonight to declare that it does not have to be this way - it does not have to be this way - two years ago we were a great nation and soon we will be a great nation again," he said.
"The only force strong enough to defeat the massive corruption we are up against it's you, the American people," Trump added. "It's not about politics, it's about love for this great nation." "I didn't need this. I had an easy life," he told the audience.
Ivanka's absence and her decision to not be involved in her father's run for the White House has split the Internet. "Ivanka Trump won't be participating in father's 2024 campaign — using her kids as an excuse. The reality is she wants to keep a low profile to protect her dubious businesses and keep from getting indicted," one user wrote on Twitter. "it means she's stepping away from being associated with his heinous crimes to America and pretending like she's different..he'll be indicted and she's worried about herself," wrote another user. One user said, "Doesn’t matter. They will not walk away so easily, Ivanka and Jared are forever tied and tarnished by the Trump sh** show. Jared should be indicted, Ivanka should return the mo ey she grifted." "Shorter version, Jared and I already got everything we could," wrote one user.

"When even @IvankaTrump isn’t on board with your #TrumpAnnouncement, it’s time to face reality. Clearly she knows there’s not even any money in it for her or Jared this time around," one user wrote, while another said, "Jared probably has more money than daddy in truth." "Why would she need to, she already made billions the first time around," one user said of Ivanka. One user wrote, "This reminds me of when the Malfoys abandoned Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts."
