Rumor has it that three more sequels are scheduled to arrive in 2024, 2026, and 2028, though the latter two would depend on the commercial reception of 'Avatar: The Way of Water.' The film received mostly positive response from critics, who praised the visuals, themes, performances, and world-building, although the dialogue and story were met with some criticism.
