LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: DC Studios co-heads Peter Safran and James Gunn have officially announced that they are working on a new Superman movie. However, unfortunately, it won't feature 'Enola Holmes 2' actor Henry Cavill. According to reports, a new actor will be sought to play Superman in the upcoming movie.

Furthermore, some talks suggest that Gunn and Safran are in talks with Ben Affleck to stay in the DC Universe but as a director. Affleck is set to reprise his role as 'Batman' in the Ezra Miller starter 'The Flash', which is slated to release on June 16, 2023. Gunn and Safran reportedly plan to disclose their full future concept regarding the DC Universe to fans in January 2023. They are reportedly meeting various talents connected to the universe to share their vision as they sort out a more united plan for the DC brand stretching across all mediums.
