QUEENS, NEW YORK: Two NYPD recruits were reportedly suspended on Friday, December 16, after they were caught having sex in a bathroom at the department’s training academy in Queens. The lovers, Javon Latibeaudiere, 26, and Madelin Ramirez Solano, 21, were caught by fellow recruits in the bathroom stall. Latibeaudiere and Solano joined the department in July.
The two, who were said to be in a relationship, were both assigned to the day tour, sources said. The New York Post saw Latibeaudiere leaving Solano’s Bronx home around 10 am on Saturday, December 17. “I am not supposed to talk about it,” he reportedly said upon being approached. “I’m not supposed to talk to the press,” he added. Insiders fumed after the incident, with one saying, "This is what we’re recruiting now." Another said, "These recruits don’t fear or care about getting caught breaking the rules.”

Latibeaudiere lives in upstate Orange County and is a Marine veteran. He studied at Pace University, graduating this year. His LinkedIn profile says he is an Administrative Services Managers at US Marine Corp. However, not much has been revealed about Solano.
