LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It is a joyous day for 'Wednesday' fans as it has officially become the second most popular English language series on Netflix. The Jenna Ortega starrer has become a massive hit, also thanks to the iconic dance moves Ortega showed off in the series which later started trending after it was synced with a fan-made fast version of the chorus of Lady Gaga's 'Bloody Mary' on TikTok.

Regardless, it has managed to break viewership records for the streamer, while bagging two Golden Globe nominations. Jenna Ortega, who plays Wednesday Addams in the series, has been called as a rising star. The series has overtaken 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' for the second-place spot. Ryan Murphy's true-crime series had left everyone stunned after it got one billion views although 'Wednesday' quickly dethroned it. Furthermore, four out of the eight episodes are directed by the legendary Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer of the Netflix series.
