Star Island is one of the several man-made islands accessed by bridges off causeways and is often referred to as Miami’s 'Millionaires Row'. The area, also known as 'Alpha Street', is known for exclusive residential neighborhoods along one scenic strip such as a riverside or hilltop drive, or a wide city boulevard. Lopez and Rodriguez’s home located in this location is a perfect example of a deluxe mansion. It consists of few modern interlopers and features open-air rooms. The Star Island has seen residents including singer Gloria Estefan, actor-producer Don Johnson during his 'Miami Vice' days and Shaquille O’Neal.
