BOULDER, COLORADO: JonBenét Ramsey's father John Ramsey said that he believes there is a "huge connection" between his daughter's killer and a terrifying attack that was carried out months later on another young girl who went to the same dance school as the late beauty queen. The 79-year-old said in an interview with The US Sun that he thinks the same culprit has carried out the two attacks and criticized "lazy" detectives for failing to investigate what he sees as a glaring parallel between the two incidents.

On December 26, 1996, JonBenét Ramsey was only six years old when she was found beaten, bound, and strangled to death in the basement of her family's home in Boulder, Colorado. Her death has been covered in mystery and rampant conspiracy for almost 26 years. No arrests were ever made in connection to the case. It is also one of the most infamous unsolved crime cases in American history. Just nine months after JonBenét's death, a girl who stayed just a few streets away from the Ramsey and attended the same dance school as the pageant queen awoke to find a man dressed in black standing at her bedside with his hand over her mouth at the middle of the night.
