SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: Josh Primo was unexpectedly released by the Austin Spurs on Friday night, October 28, following reports that the 2021 lottery pick repeatedly exposed himself to women, according to ESPN. An updated report from Saturday night, October 29, provided more details regarding Primo's unexpected departure. In his initial interview with ESPN on Friday, the second-year guard said that he knew the news had surprised fans and that he was taking the time to "focus on [his] mental health treatment more fully."

Primo stated, "I hope to be able to discuss these issues in the future so I can help others who have suffered in a similar way. I appreciate privacy at this time." Primo allegedly exposed himself to a former Spurs employee, according to The Athletic. According to the story, she has hired Tony Buzbee as her attorney.
