ATLANTA, GEORGIA: The 49-year-old reality show star turned fraudster Julie Chrisley, wishes to serve her time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, Florida, where infamous Ghislaine Maxwell is also imprisoned. The reality star hopes for this as she can pass her time by bonding with other prisoners through yoga classes and baking lessons, as per RadarOnline. Julie is assigned to serve in Federal Correctional Institution in Marianne. It is a medium-security prison and a minimum-security satellite camp that can accommodate a combined 1,222 inmates.
When the 'Chrisley Knows Best' stars turn themselves in on January 17, Todd Chrisley, 53, Julie's soon-to-be-imprisoned spouse, will be housed at FCI Pensacola, which is only a three-hour drive away from FCI Tallahassee. In Tallahassee, Julie, 49, has to get up at 6 am and make her bed, every morning. Furthermore, she will have to work a prison job, such as folding laundry, cleaning toilets, or working in the kitchen, and might as well work with Maxwell in the library. Todd was sentenced to serve 12 years and Julie will serve seven years in prison, as per RadarOnline.

As part of her sentencing, Julie's attorney requested the court for her to be sent to Tallahassee. The prison reportedly has a laid-back atmosphere and offers plenty of extracurricular activities for inmates. In some ways, it sounds more like a summer camp than a correctional facility. The news outlet confirmed that "besides being out of her cell for work periods, Julie and her new friends will be able to play softball, flag football, and frisbee. Todd's wife will also be permitted to enjoy yoga classes."
The reality TV star will be retiring from the public eye while serving her prison term, but she will allegedly be able to learn new skills. Julie will be given the chance to participate in apprenticeships in baking, plumbing, electricity, and horticulture. The court reportedly recommended FCI Coleman to Julie despite her pleading for Tallahassee. The facility also has a reputation for harboring male offenders. She will transfer to Tallahassee if Coleman is already filled or doesn't work out, which is most likely the case.
RadarOnline reported that Julie will be permitted to contact her husband, who will be stationed at FPC Pensacola, regardless of where she ends up – if their wardens' consent. According to guidelines they got from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Todd and Julie will be able to communicate with one another via letters, emails, and possibly packages while they are both imprisoned.
