SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: BTS Suga has officially become the first K-pop artist to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify. While this will take some time to sink in, his airport snaps have made fans go crazy over his luscious locks. Now, there is no doubt that BTS stays trending throughout the year. Soon after the famous K-pop group announced their hiatus, Min Yoongi aka Suga revealed that he is 'working hard' on his new solo album. As per reports, the K-pop star was seen leaving for Tokyo on Tuesday, September 27. While fans are speculating the Japan trip is related to his solo album, it could just be about a new photoshoot.

Back in June 2022, the BTS rapper revealed details about his working on a solo album. The artist has released two mixtapes: 'Agust D' which came out in 2016 and 'D-2' which was released in 2020. The two tracks were enough to signify his potential as a solo artist. Moreover, Suga is one of four Korean soloists to have landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2022. In a recent interview with Weverse Magazine, the K-pop singer revealed his wish to release a follow-up to 'D-2'. Not much further was revealed, but this was enough to excite the BTS Army. This was also a testament to his potential as a successful solo artist.
