Kate Hudson braves chilly NYC weather in fluffy winter coat and baggy pants after announcing music debut plans

The actress had on a pair of comfortable, olive colored slacks that she tucked into a pair of chic, black combat boots. She wore a gray long-sleeved knit sweater that was partially hidden by a fluffy, cream-colored teddy bear coat that hung down to her ankles.

The mother of three covered her naturally flowing blonde hair, which fell past her shoulders, with a dark blue beanie, covering her ears. The actress also carried a black cross-body bag over her shoulders with her hands in her coat's pockets due to the chilly weather.

The 'Bride Wars' actress has been spending time in New York City while promoting 'Glass Onion'. Hudson spoke about the highly-anticipated Netflix movie with detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, on 'The Tonight Show' and her experiences on set. "I mean, you have few great experiences," she explained, adding that her stepfather, Kurt Russell, had told her that, "Every ten years, you know, if you're lucky, you get another great experience making a movie where everything kind of fits," adding, "That's what this felt like."

During the conversation with Jimmy Fallon, Hudson also revealed her plans for her music debut. The actress stated, "I've been making a record for like a year," and exclaimed, "It's so fun." The 'Mother's Day' actress further explained that she has been, "writing music" since she was 19 but "never shared it," before remarking she thought not sharing her music would be one of her "great regrets." Hudson revealed she had "no expectations." She excitedly explained, "I just want to put a record out, and so I'm doing it. And I'm really proud of it." When asked when her music will be available, Hudson confirmed that it will be released "next year."
