'I miss you more': Kaylee Goncalves' sister Autumn pays heartfelt tribute weeks after Idaho homicide

Kaylee from Rathdrum, Idaho, was looking forward to graduating early in December and had plans to move to Austin, Texas, where she had landed a marketing job. She was also set for an upcoming trip to Europe. As reported by Fox News, the 21-year-old was one of five siblings and her family has been notably vocal since the tragedy. Autumn's tribute was captioned, "I love you so much, sissy. I miss you more as the days go on." The music then fades out and the Instagram Story ends with a poem, 'How am I to live in a world where your heart no longer beats'. Autumn has since made her profile private.

Kaylee's father Steve Goncalves bemoaned over the weekend that the police had stopped updating the family about the investigation. "They're kind of just telling me that they can't tell me much, which is frustrating to me because I've been very trustworthy," the devastated father said. "I do know things, I haven't shared things," he added The family paid tribute to Kaylee in a touching statement days after the tragic killings.

"One of the most painful experiences has to be to sum up an entire person in a paragraph," the family said. "Who they were and what they loved & what they wanted in life. Our sister can't be packaged up in a box with a neat bow," they added. The statement noted how Kaylee loved her puppy, Murphy, her family, and "the way mimosas looked but not really the taste." Being the middle child, the 21-year-old fiercely looked out for her family and "didn't hold back on love, fights, or life," her family wrote, adding, "She'd never stop fighting for us and demanding the truth and justice and neither will we."

Moscow police are working tirelessly to solve the grisly murders that have rocked the community of Moscow. The quadruple homicide is believed to have been committed using a "fixed-blade knife" as the students were asleep. However, no suspect has been named as of Wednesday morning, November 30. While law enforcement officials believe the attack was "targeted," they have asked the Moscow community to remain vigilant nonetheless. Meanwhile, University of Idaho administrators have ramped up security around campus for the remainder of the semester.
