Leslie Grace fans worry about her career as 'Batgirl' axing comes after 'In the Heights' flop
The news of Warner Bros deciding to shelve the DC Comics live-action film ‘Batgirl,’ has sent shock waves among fans across the globe. The fantasy adventure movie will not release in theatres and will also not be streamed digitally in any platforms. The news has left fans of actress Leslie Grace heartbroken. Many took to social media to slam the makers for jeopardising Grace's career.
The $90 million project, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, was in its post production stage until Warner Bros firmly decided to shelve the movie for indefinite period. The main reason behind the big move after David Zaslav took over as the new CEO, is said to be cost cutting in terms of taxes and avoid money loss, reported Variety.
