Luke Knox, brother of Buffalo Bills’ Dawson Knox, dies at 22: ‘He had passion for football’
MIAMI-DADE, FLORIDA: The younger brother of Buffalo Bills player Dawson Knox, Luke Knox who was a junior linebacker at Florida International University died at the age of 22. The young player's sudden demise was reported by FIU on Thursday, August 18. The university wrote, "We are saddened by the sudden passing of Luke Knox, a member of the FIU Football program. We send our thoughts and prayers to Luke’s family, friends and teammates during this difficult time."
Bills head coach Sean McDermott also confirmed the young star's passing. McDermott said, "Our hearts go out to Dawson and his family during this time. We're right there with him and supporting him and his family - and just tragic news that I woke up to this morning.” According to the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner's office, Luke died on August 17. The reason for death has not yet been disclosed. However, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department, there are currently no suspicions of criminal activity, reported The Sun.
