It is based on the accounts of the women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. Speaking of sexual harassment, many similar stories rose to the surface when the #Metoo movement revolutionized. However, 'Bombshell's box office results were seen as disappointing but the film received mostly favorable reviews, praising its acting as well as its choices of makeup and hair but some criticizing the screenplay and inaccuracies.
