BAY ST LOUIS, MISSISSIPPI: Two golfers got into an argument over a game of golf, and one of them bit the other's nose off on Monday, November 28, 2022, in the casino parking lot, according to the authorities. Bay St Louis Police Chief Toby Schwartz claimed that Biloxi resident Mark Curtis Wells, 51, originally fled the scene in a dark-colored Tesla before surrendering.

A victim with a disfiguring facial injury was discovered by police when they arrived at the Hollywood Casino following a report of an assault on Monday night, according to a statement. The victim's nose was not discovered during the transfer to the hospital, according to WXXV-TV. "The investigation determined that suspect, Mark Curtis Wells, bit the nose off of the victim," Schwartz stated. The victim and Wells had been arguing all day about a game of golf they had played at the resort's Bridges Golf Course, according to the information given to authorities.
