Did Mick Jagger take subtle dig at Harry Styles? Fans get furious over rocker’s sly remarks
Rock icon Mick Jagger was all over the Internet over the weekend after he passed a sly remark on Harry Styles. The Rolling Stones member got himself in bit of a trouble as the loyal fans of Harry dragged the legendary musician on social media after he commented that he used to wear a lot more eye make-up than Harry Styles.
Mick Jagger added that Harry doesn’t have a voice like him and that he doesn’t move like him on stage. While it appears that Jagger had no intentions to take a dig at the former One Direction member, his fans crucified him on Twitter for his statement. The 78-year-old rocker has so far, not reacted to him getting demolished on social media.

While sitting for an interview with The London Times, Mick Jagger dubbed his bond with Harry Styles as an “easy relationship.” “I like Harry- we have an easy relationship. I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him”, said Jagger adding, “He doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine-he can’t help that.”
Mick Jagger might have passed a cheeky remark on Harry, the latter on several occasions, has cited the iconic musician as one of his biggest inspirations- also when it comes to fashion. Let’s not forget when Harry famously impersonated The Rolling Stones frontman when he hosted SNL in 2017. Jagger also remembered his band’s late drummer Charlie Watts saying, “I don’t really expect him to be there any more if I turn round during a show. But I do think about him. Not only during rehearsals or on stage, but in other ways too. I miss him as a player and as a friend.”
