Reacting to the video of a "fired up" Nash, people took to Twitter to suggest possible hilarious scenarios for such an outburst. "Whe McDonald’s tells you the ice cream machine is still out of order," wrote one user, while another went on the same line, suggesting that such a reaction could be, "When you tell a girl there is no pumpkin spice on the menu."

Others shared screengrabs of Nash in the middle of the argument to highlight the shockingly aggressive stance of the usually mild-mannered coach. "Steve Nash with murder in his eyes," tweeted one user. Someone else suggested that Nash's reaction was a result of coaching Nets basketball player Ben Simmons. "All the stress from coaching Ben Simmons has caught up on Steve Nash," the person tweeted. Notably, the Australian player has seen a rather dismal start to the season. 

Another person shared a clip that had earlier been uploaded by Nash on his TikTok where the 48-yar-old coach can be seen dancing to the beat of YNW Melly's '223s'. "Steve Nash when he gets home to calm himself down," they captioned. Someone else suggested "Steve Nash and Doc Rivers competing to see who gets fired first."

At the same time, there were others who believe Nash's sudden outburst was part of a hidden agenda. "Steve Nash think he’s slick… getting ejected on purpose so that he wouldn’t have to make adjustments in the 4th. Don’t mind me tho and Carry the hell on…" tweeted former professional basketball player, Kendrick Le'Dale "Perk" Perkins. His tweet did not go down well with others as one tweeted, "You talk about nash but you stay dead silent on Doc Rivers and the 1-4 Sixers. I thought you were fair and honest critiquing coaches? How come we only here you singling out Nash?"
