National Board of Review names 'Top Gun: Maverick' Best Movie of 2022, 'RRR' among Top 10 films of the year

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Tom Cruise’s ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ took the world by storm when it hit theatres in May 2022. The movie turned out to be a huge hit and earned universal acclaim for direction, acting, storyline, and epic aerial sequences. Apart from getting rave reviews, ‘Maverick’ was the first movie to earn more than the $1 billion mark at the box office and many believed that it was a frontrunner for Best Picture nomination at the 95th Academy Awards.
