Nick Carter sued by autistic woman who claims singer raped her on tour bus when he was 21
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Nick Carter has been sued for sexual battery by a woman who claimed she was assaulted 20 years ago, after a concert inside his tour bus. The accused, Shannon Ruth, who was a 17-year-old teen when the incident happened claims the singer asked him for a drink, and when she requested apple juice, she was severed a red-colored drink. The Backstreet Boys singer, called it a ‘VIP juice,’ as per the document filed in court. However, Carter claims it was cranberry juice, Ruth believes it contained alcohol in it.
The lawsuit claims that Carter then brought her to the bathroom, and demanded she performs oral sex on him. Later, the 47-year-old singer allegedly continued to sexually assault her in bed. The accused claimed in the documents that she was a virgin before the incident, and she contracted HPV afterward. Ruth mentioned the reason she didn’t report the incident was that Carter allegedly told her “she would go to jail if she told anyone what happened.”
