Last Friday night, Mekuli took the opportunity to remind her admirers of the famous video as she shared a picture in the same outfit and simply captioned it, "Legendary," along with a camera and newspaper symbol. The steamy photo shows the officer leaning against a white door as she shows off her curves in the lap dance outfit.
The comment section immediately recognized Mekuli's outfit and showered her with compliments. "I remember that outfit," read one of the first comments on the picture. "No cap Finest cop in America," another comment said. "The infamous outfit," a third comment read.
"Hottie," another user wrote, alongside fire emojis. Many fans mentioned a reference to the Christmas part as one wrote, "Somebody’s going to the Christmas party." "Where's the Christmas party this year?" a user wrote.
Mekuli has certainly gotten over the initial embarrassment and is proud to show off her controversial outfit to the world on the anniversary of the video. She spoke about the notoriety she gained after the "office party" on December 16, 2021, where she can be seen giving a lap dance to her married boss in public. "I feel like just because, mainly, I’m a female, dressed the way I was, being a rookie, things were different," the officer told TMZ. "Had it been a man doing it, I feel like it would have been more of a joking matter and it would have stayed in-house versus go public the way it did with me," she added.
Netizens wondered if Mekuli had quit her job and started an OnlyFans career. To which, the officer uploaded an image of herself posing in her NYPD uniform, and she captioned the image, "Hold up wait a minute… y’all thought I was finished?" It appears that although Mekuli is working, she continues to post images showing off her toned body, which has fans branding her as "the finest cop in America."
