'Peacemaker' Episode 8: Who plays Superman and Wonder Woman in the Justice League cameo?
The Justice League cameo in the finale of 'Peacemaker' rubbed fans the wrong way. Not only it did garner heavy criticism for making the league a joke, but the appeared use of body doubles for Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot who play Superman and Wonder Woman in the DCEU has not sat well with the audience. The final minutes of the episode see four members of the league appear to take care of the butterfly situation, only for John Cena's Peacemaker and his team to have finished the job.
While Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller reprised their roles as Arthur Curry/Aquaman and Barry Allen/Flash respectively, The Man of Steel and Wonder Woman were only shown as silhouettes and nothing more. Neither Cavill nor Gadot were named in the credits, and interestingly, nor were Momoa and Miller. At the time of writing, neither Momoa nor Miller were listed in IMDb's official cast list. This does give rise to a few theories.
