'Peacemaker' renewed for Season 2, here's 5 things about James Gunns DCEU series
Such was the success of James Gunn's TV debut as writer and director in 'Peacemaker' that a second season of the explosive DCEU series was inevitable. In what comes as good news for fans, the 'Peacemaker' is confirmed for Season 2. Gunn will write and direct all of the episodes in Season 2, with John Cena set to reprise the role of Christopher Smith/Peacemaker. The actor took to Twitter following the announcement.
"Learning about and eventually becoming #PEACEMAKER was an exercise in exploring the fun and absolutely genius mind of @JamesGunn. It's been a privilege to work on this show and with the cast, crew and @hbomax team. Elated to say we’ll be back to create more peace for Season 2!"
