‘Load of royal-bashing tosh’: Piers Morgan calls Meghan Markle ‘SHAMELESS’ after her latest bombshell interview

The former Good Morning Britain presenter shared a tweet saying, "Even by Markle standards, this is a revoltingly self-aggrandizing, disingenuous & hypocritical load of royal-bashing tosh". "The Mandela anecdote alone had me gagging", he further added. "How dare she use her title to keep trashing the institution that gave it to her? Shameless & shameful."

In the explosive interview, Meghan slammed the royals for not granting her and Harry the "arrangement" they desired, despite the fact that they were not requesting to "reinvent the wheel." However, she claimed that others were allowed to carry out their duties on their terms. "That, for whatever reason, is not something that we were allowed to do, even though several other members of the family do that exact thing," Meghan said. 

Meghan also stated that the couple was willing to travel to any Commonwealth country to get away from their family. “Anything to just … because just by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy," Meghan said. "So we go, ‘Okay, fine, let’s get out of here. Happy to.” 

The new attack on the royals comes as Harry and Meghan prepare to return to the United Kingdom next month. They are in Manchester for a youth summit as well as the WellChild Awards for seriously ill children. However, due to Harry's security concerns, it is expected that the couple will not use one of their two spare days to visit the Queen at her home in Balmoral.
