Is Piers Morgan returning to GMB? Ofcom clears host in Meghan Markle row, ITV boss slammed
Piers Morgan is celebrating right now. He took to Twitter to announce that his comments about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's famous interview with Oprah Winfrey was not against Ofcom regulations. 'Good Morning Britain' was not in breach of the broadcasting code over comments about that interview, Ofcom ruled today, September 1.
Just moments after the news broke, Piers tweeted about his happiness over the ruling. "BREAKING: @Ofcom rejects all complaints against me over Meghan Markle furore that led to my exit from @GMB. Verdict says I was entitled to disbelieve her & Prince Harry & to restrict my right to do so would be a ‘chilling restriction on freedom of expression.’" The TV presenter had exited GMB after the row.
