LONDON, ENGLAND: After a long wait, the first three episodes of Netflix’s new documentary series about the controversial royal couple, titled Harry & Meghan, were released on Thursday, December 8. This is the first time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be opening up about the negative press attention that forced them to make the shocking decision of stepping down from the royal family in 2020 after their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry spoke about his mother, Princess Diana in one of the episodes where he said that he was told not to express his emotions at his mother's funeral. The 38-year-old's claim can create a spark among the royal members as Princess Diana's death has been one of the most controversial incidents, which has haunted the royal family since 1997. The former Princess of Wales was the first wife of King Charles III and is also the mother of Princes William. Princess Diana was widely known for her activism and her glamor made her an international icon and earned her enduring popularity, as well as almost unprecedented public scrutiny while she was alive.
